Deposits & Payments

  • Is my deposit refundable?

    Your deposit is non-refundable. However, if you notify us at least 90 days before your retreat, we can transfer your deposit to another available retreat.

  • When is my remaining balance due?

    For US retreats: The remaining balance is due 60 days before your retreat.

    For International retreats: The remaining balance is due 90 days before your retreat.

    We offer flexible payment options: monthly, interest-free installments or payment in full.

  • Is the remaining balance refundable?

    For US retreats: Full refunds (excluding deposit) are available for cancellations made 90 days before the retreat.

    For International retreats: Full refunds (excluding deposit) are available for cancellations made 120 days before the retreat.

    Cancellations made after these deadlines are non-refundable.

Travel & Accommodations

  • Are flights included?

    Flights are not included. We'll provide suggested arrival times to optimize your retreat experience. Please allow for potential travel delays.

  • How do I get to/from the airport and hotel?

    We provide airport transportation. Please provide your flight details, and we'll arrange your pickup and drop-off.

  • Which airport should I fly into?

    Airport details are included in your retreat itinerary.

  • Are rooms single or double occupancy?

    Listed prices are for double occupancy. Single occupancy is available for an additional fee, subject to availability.

  • Can I choose my roommate?

    Yes! Please indicate your roommate preference on the registration form. Both participants must list each other.

  • Can I arrive early or stay longer?

    Yes! We recommend this, especially for international travel. Contact us at hello@blackandbould.com for accommodation assistance.

  • Why do itineraries vary in detail?

    Website itineraries are general outlines. A detailed schedule will be provided closer to the retreat. For specific questions, email hello@blackandbould.com.

  • Do I have to stick to the itinerary?

    No! Feel free to opt out of activities. Please inform us in advance if possible, as this could lower your retreat cost.

  • What type of workouts are included?

    Our trainers offer diverse, adaptable workouts for all fitness levels. Modifications are available. Communication with trainers is encouraged.

  • What kind of food can I expect?

    Delicious, high-quality meals featuring local cuisine and diverse flavors.

  • Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

    Yes! Please specify your dietary needs on the registration form.

  • I know this retreat is for wellness, but can I drink alcohol?

    Yes, alcohol is permitted. Select meals may include alcoholic beverages.

  • What should I pack?

    A detailed packing list will be sent in your welcome email after booking.

  • Is there an age requirement?

    Most retreats require participants to be 18+ unless otherwise specified. Family and corporate retreats may have different requirements.

  • What is the typical age range?

    Our typical age range is 25-45, but all ages are welcome.

  • How many people are on each retreat?

    Group sizes range from 6-14 participants.

  • Can I connect with other participants beforehand?

    Yes! We'll create a WhatsApp group 4-6 weeks before the retreat for introductions.

  • Do I need an international phone plan?

    Not necessarily. WhatsApp works with Wi-Fi, which is available at hotels and most locations.

  • Do you provide travel insurance?

    No, we highly recommend obtaining your own travel insurance.

  • What is included in the price?

    Luxury accommodations, three meals daily, snacks, workouts, spa & wellness treatments, adventures & activities, transportation, and welcome gifts.

    We suggest you bring spending money for shopping and nightlife.
